5.1 Control panel functions

The control panel field consists of a membrane keyboard with ten pushbuttons, four LED indica-

tors and a two-line LCD display.

• Itisusedtocontrolthefunctionsoftheinstrumentandtodisplaythesoftwarestatus.

• Thecontrolpanelfieldindicatesthecurrentstatusoftheroboticcoverslipperandoperations

in progress.

• Differentparameters(settings)canbeprogrammedforthecoverslippingoperationusing

the pushbuttons.

• Thedisplayshowsinformationalanderrormessages.

• Apushbutton canfulfilldifferentfunctions.The differencesarelistedinChapter 5.2 and

Chapter 5.8.
